Can you tell what these are?
10 commentsI found the metal fan blade holders at my local flea market. I just loved them. But what to do with them? Turn them upside down & have great towel holders. They are dated 1898.

Play the Music, Not the Instrument
16 commentsWell, I must admit the Piano Paper Roll JMS Challenge, was just that, a serious challenge for me! First of all, I’m not sure if you’ve ever worked with these bits of paper fun, but they are very brittle and tear easily – plus, I rarely incorporate paper into my art, so this project had me stumped. "To receive everything, one must open one's hands and give."

Rusty Sprocket End Table
14 commentsHere's a marriage made in rust heaven! I found this wonderful rusty sprocket wheel a couple months back as I was leaving the salvage yard (so glad I was there when I was) and had been eyeing the heavy blue stand at Geo's store for months and decided to put the two together and make a fantastic end table. And for those of you who remember my "haul" post back in November, this is the piece I used to make the instant outdoor table...
