Great idea! I've been wanting to try this since I first saw your post months ago. I finally found a free crib springs, purchased my burlap and prepared my project. That same day I accidentally broke my husband's Grandmothers lamp from the 50's. Since I loved the shade, I decided to unroll it and I hung it by fishing line onto my burlap woven springs. We're redoing our living room so as soon as it's done we'll have new/old art to hang and still be able to honor Grandma!
