My passion is decorating, especially dining table vignettes. I have to have something antique or vintage in the decoration. I use almost anything on the dining table! LOVE antique shows and hole-in-the-wall antique stores, where you can find real treasures.

 A vintage birdcage is filled with shimmery Christmas baubles and topped with a bird on a 'nest' made of a fun, glittery napkin ring.

Okay, you get the prize. I have looked at these for years, and could never come up with an idea of what to do with them - love the galvanized metal, shape, etc., but just had no idea. I tip my Mai Tai to you - clink!

That lamp is about the coolest thing I've seen in a long time - what GREAT repurposing! Looks industrial, yet modern and and classic, all at the same time. Great job!

The bird cage is as I found it, chippy paint and all. All I did was brush out the cobwebs!
