The glass flowers I have made are mounted on top of the post by cutting a notch in the pole and gluing the plate rim in the notch.

That is an awesome idea. I have tons of old cutter linens and am always looking for projects to do with them. This is so simple yet looks so elegant! Thank you for sharing.

It is about 24 inches tall and about 18-20 inches around.Tha wood is in good shape except for inside of the "cage" it looks like something has been removed and the wood is chipped up.

Love this piece. Would look really great if you could find an oval mirror to go on top. Glass is pretty expensive and so is mirror but you might be able to find one at a yard sale or thrift shop.

I used a bunch of tiny ones and attached them to lace valances and put tiny flowers in them. Thay look really pretty when the sun shines through them.

I agree a swap site would be great idea! I absolutely love the one with the black lace looking trim.If you want to sell it let me know! My daughter collects these as she is really into the asian decor.
