Ive been re-purposing junk for years. My entire home is filled with items that I reused from junk. This is my hobby and my life. Love anything old and unusual.

Garage sale find

Found this box type shelf at a garage sale. Repainted it, with a faux finish using beezwax and put a new knob on it. Turned out nice I thought. Now on to the next project.

Display case

Old display case from a school that was being torn down. Used it to make a flag.

Prim wall hanging

Found this in a barn. Didn't paint it, just cleaned it up and added some touches to it. I have this hanging over a bath tub.

Primitive Barn Wood Island

This is a bunch of barn wood that was taken from an old barn. I put it together, sanded it, stained it and painted it. I use it as an island in my kitchen. The stools are from a garage sale find...

Re: doors ,any ideas for me?

They make beautiful hall trees. If you add some old antique knobs for the coat rack and build a square bottom to give it a resting place and a use for shoes. Always make sure it is secured to the wall though.

Re: UGLY nightstand transformation
