Plant Trellis

I needed something to prop up my columbine when they bloom and I picked up two screen door pieces and just plumked them into the ground in front of the flowers.  Works perfectly and I'll use it...

Re: Rustic Romantic Valentines

Very romantic. Hope someone really rec'd this as it would be a one of a kind gift!

Re: Radiant Fire

What a find! Good thing you were on the lookout and reclaimed it.

Re: Problem solved

Super job! Just the right thing to stand in a corner with glitz and glamor hanging from it.

Re: Architectural Salvage Angel

Very cute!

Re: old window

Have seen people do this but with elegance! This is a true piece of western art. Love it!

Re: tv tray cart turned laundry cart / basket

Oh how I remember the TV trays of the 70's. This is a real great idea. I have two really old ones that I think I may do that with to hold my knitting and crochet projects. Just have to figure out how to make the lid stay in place without snapping it on. Will send pics if I ever find time to actually do it.

Re: Vintage Hardware, door knobs & furniture knob and pulls

Where are you? Would do a day trip just to see what's in your place. Love it! Love it! Love it!

Re: It's a Wrap - Part Five

I used to do this in the 70's, but not to your extent. Still have some of the twine so will get busy and utilize your ideas in my own way. Plan to do up fake pkgs for under our tree. Have to mail everything elsewhere so will do it just for us. Will take pix and send along. Thanks & Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

Re: It's a Wrap - Part Four

Sue, you are a wonder! Caught the Dome reference and had a good laugh. Yes, this is a very clever way to wrap a gift. I have so many jars, just no lids. Got any ideas for them? Thanks.

Re: What's Behind Door #1,Door #2, & Door #3

Excellent! Love the look. You really put your ingenuity to work on these. Thanks for the ideas.

Re: What a Hoe!

I am always looking for new ways to hold my recipe cards. this one tops them all. Will have to raid the garage for old tools now and make one for my daughter-in-law. Great ideas and cool uses.

Re: Just a little more to snack on...

Great use of a tripod. You could alter it for a bird seed plate too, just put it under a roof. Anyone, game?

Re: New Whimsy for a Retro Groovy Metal Chair

That looks like the one my Aunt had, and it was yellow too.
Hey, I have some old metal chair frames in our garage. Might take on a project like this for the winter so we can actually, finally, use them when company comes over. Will take pix if I do.

Re: license plate star ..

Great idea for any type of metal! What about using old tin roofing, if you can find it? Thanks for the ideas.

Re: Table Top Made With Old Printing Press Type

Love it! and I agree that there are some real possibilities for this "type" of application to more furniture and walls. Go for it girl!

Re: A Junky Holiday Coaster Ornament

Beautifully artsy and sparkley. Thanks for the idea!

Re: Vintage Pennant Ornaments

Hi Jim,
Love your tree! Can't wait for next year's edition.

Re: bait bucket Christmas tree

I'd get "canned", pardon the pun, if I used my husbands, but it's a great idea if you have "old" fishermen in your family.

Re: Vintage Driveway Marker

I agree with Marie,it's a great skeleton head for Halloween!

Re: Holiday fast fixes!

Just goes to prove that one man's junk is another's treasure! Great find.

Re: Otten Bros., JUNKMARKET Style

That's not fair!!!! You're too far away to grab up some of those wonderful items. I'll keep looking locally for similar things. Keep the ideas comin' and we'll all have wonderful Holidays.

Re: Trick or Treat

What a fun door decor and you didn't even have to go out and buy anything! What a great treasure trove you found! Love Halloween so this is right up my alley.

Re: My "Out of the box" wreath

Excellent use of everything! Adding the greenery and photo was a definite plus!

Re: Extreme Tree Trimming

Just love what you've thought to do with an old tree, and it's even useful. Where'd you find Jack?
