I was a very avid junker. I would make different things and sell them from the small "goose shed" that you see in my profile picture. I stopped doing it for a while because everyone was wanting me to make the same things and I wanted each item to be unique. I had gotten away from the whole point of recycling found junk into greater things and it wasn't fun for me anymore. I didn't want "cookie cutter" pieces. This site has inspired me again. I can't wait to get started. Although this time it will be just for me.

Re: Crib Notes On Weaving - Shhh, Don't Tell

I absolutely LOVE this! I hope you don't mind if I "borrow" this idea. I always wondered what I could do with that old metal crib spring!

Re: Potting table

I made one of these too! Mind you yours is much fancier than mine, but great job. I will have to post a picture so you can see!

Re: How to Make a shelf out of a Infants bed

Love this! I have a similar crib and always wondered what to do with it. It has been sitting in my shed until I could think of something. Mine doesn't have folding legs though, the two end rails include the legs. I will definitely be doing something with it now!

Re: Chandelier

Thanks for all of the comments! Just a note to bridiemurphy. I have the chandelier hanging from a rope through an old block and tackle (another junk find!) in the ceiling. I can lower it to light it and then pull it back up.
