Who I am is complicated. Well, maybe not complicated, just layered.
I am Tracey.
Wife of a fabulous craftsman. 26 years.
Ma of two grown sons.
Gram to one sweet granddaughter, another baby on the way. I love collecting quirky things.
Especially vintage. In fact, Im a junker.
A friend to estate sales.
First grade teacher.
Manager of six year olds. Controller of my curls.
Sunday school teacher.
The wheels are always spinning.
That's me.
When pulling out of the driveway each morning as I head to school, I see wood and stone. I see the sweat it took to build our home and I feel the aches and pains associated with keeping it up. But mostly I see REFUGE. A haven. My favorite place. And I can not wait to get back to it when the day is done. That is what I want for every person I know. To feel such a connection with the home they create.

Re: How to Make a Gear Mold Clock
I like the idea of a working clock! Ha. I have a few that are just for "looks" but gee, why not have one that works? Hee hee. We junkers sometimes settle for "just looks", huh?

Your tree brings up all kinds of emotions and feelings of nostalgia. Family travel. Collecting. Whimsy. The love someone had for those penants. And now YOU (we) have for those penants. Thanks for posting such a creative tree.

Very cool art, Candy. I like the way you used the wood thing to support the bag. This idea could be applied to lots of other projects, huh? Thanks for the inspiration.
