Yes the flowers are the caps from the christmas balls. Just a tap of the hammer to flatten it and the petals appear... then I added the tiny caps from the smaller balls to accent the middle...It was fun making the design...

What a great find! I agree that they probably were tie-backs. You could also use them in the upper top corners of a window and drape a long piece of cloth for a swag effect. I like the towel holder use too. They are beautiful pieces!

I love mushrooms for my garden and these are such a cool idea! I can see the sun shinging through these now...These must be vintage sugar bowls and creamers? maybe glass lampshades too?
