posted: 9:13 am on December 10thMy son's best friend's wife was looking all over for vintage ornaments. She said everywhere she looked they were very high. She checked garage sales, specialty shops, too too high. She was in the thrift store just browsing and saw a large bag with a elf sticking out of the top. The bag was taped shut, so she just took a chance on the "grab bag" that cost her a whopping $2.00 (great price huh?) and low an behold it was packed full of her vintage ornaments, santas and elves. She was ecstatic.
I love looking at your vintage goodies.

Tonight, my son threw a fork to my daughter at the table and hit one of the candle holders and chipped it in two places. I will be putting clear tape over the chips and paint clear fingernail polish to seal it and keep it for being sharp. Thank goodness I know how to fix things. HA. And to think, my son is only 24 years old and works at the hospital here. He's a anesthesiologist assistant. I told him, that I don't know if I would want someone putting me to sleep who throw forks across a kitchen. =-(
