I'm with Rachel--I'd leave them just as they are. Many uses. Can be placed in bathroom to place extra towels on, smaller one on a table top for the elevation effect for a table scape. I could go on but let's see what you come up with.

We're geeked--making our game plan--what to look for--what route to take--and even down to what food/drinks are coming with us. I'm taking a four pack of wine (1 glass per bottle--not 4 large bottles)LOL. The best part is this sale goes along the "thumb" road way which is right on the water--lots of scenery.

Well I can't make the 650 miles of sales (ohh la la) but will be done the Michigan Yard Sale Trail-200 miles along the beautiful scenic road around the "thumb" area. This is JH and my 3rd year. Each year we traveled around using different starting and stopping points. This year we will be starting in Caseville. We will arrive on Thursday (which happens to be in the middle of their "cheesebuger festival"!!). Heading out Friday and driving and shopping til we drop. This is loads of fun and the scenery is great!! Hope to find lots of stuff!!

Thanks to all. I am glad Mom is still with us (at 91 years old). She had a grand time (with leftovers to take home). Us girls get together when ever we can. Our best fun is Christmas Eve (family tradition from way back from who knows when). There's never a harsh word just tons of laughter and a spontaneous paperball fight after the gift exchange. I'm thankful for our families--which is getting bigger each year. And very thankful for each day Mom is still here and laughing with us.

I'm sure you'll come up with something great. There is no wrong way to make these. I think pickets for the top would look cool. It will let in the sun, rain (necessary if you put plants in) and air. Some of these conservatories can get real warm inside if there is no circulation! I'll post pics when she has it done (which she told me won't be till the spring). I plan on putting my garden art and planters in there this winter BUT in the spring comes the big plans of putting plants on the top shelf and not sure about the bottom shelf yet. Still trying to think of ideas to decorate--(i.e. chandilier or other light source; door knob, outside decorations). Thanks for the idea of using a wheeled art to move this around--could come in handy when changing the look of my back deck.

The other has a removable lid. I use it during the summer as a bar table and as storage in the winter. One year I did put large pots of flowers in each side and it looked great--for future reference.

There were a few ES and GS on Thurs, Fri and less on Saturday. Being the holiday weekend most people in Michigan high tail it up north for the final hurrah. Which is too bad since I'm the only one home.
Guess it's time to get to the grater. Look for the project soon!

I kept the paper on the tile, arranged the tiles on the paper side like you want them, trace the outline, with an exacto knife make cuts in the tile until it comes loose, remove the paper and place the domino's on the sticky side. (Repeat for more). Hope this helps.
