Ol' Blue Door

I found this door last weekend at a flea market for $8 - couldn't pass it up, even though I don't know what the heck I'm going to do with it!  Any of you clever people have ideas?

Stove Grate Clock

This is about as lazy as one can possibly get.  I've had this stove/chimney grate floating around my house forever, wasn't sure what to do with it next.  Decided to see if it would fit...

Re: Trick or Treat...Mwah ah ah!!

If you do this for a holiday you're not crazy about, I can't wait to see what you create next for the holidays you do like!

Your basement was a goldmine... great stuff!

Re: Potting Table

This is great - I love how the lights highlight the brackets and the wood. Good job!

Re: lace roses

Very pretty... I admire anyone who can work with fabric like that. Fabrics hate me!

What a great, simple idea. Very Salvage Chic!

Re: Escutcheon plates

That's really a great idea... I have several of those laying around and haven't done anything with them yet. Very clever!

Very cool.. so simple and pretty.

Re: Gas Lamp to Candlestick: Quick, Easy and Pretty Too!

What a find! Great job--I think it has great character, too. Love the combination of buttons with crystals.

Re: Bird Cage Lighting

That is absolutely gorgeous! I love the shadows it casts, and the birdcage is so unusual...great job!

Re: Ol' Blue Door

Thanks all for your great ideas & comments. I almost fell over when I saw the price tag of $8. I didn't mull it over for even a second! I'll prop it up and stare at it daily and see what happens.

Re: "TWO FACED"

This is amazing... What a great mix of "stuff" he is! I love his 'do and his little eyebrows. Very cool!

Re: Heir-Loom

Jim, what a great idea! I had one of those looms when I was a kid...now I wish I still had it. Looks perfect with that photo.

Re: Witch Hazel Barrel Top Table

What a great table and a lucky find... the colors and graphics are beautiful. I just acquired an iron birdbath base I want to make a table out of - I'd love to find a treasure like this!

Re: All-Seeing

I absolutely love this - very cool!

Re: Oven Top Bathroom Shelf

This is so cute - what a great curbside treasure.

Re: Great Crates

Love this! The sleek glass on top of the weathered crates is awesome; the basket of (bocci, croquet?) balls is a cool touch. You must have the most colorful junk collection of any of us!

This is very cool... great design!

Re: The Prison Door-- Chapter 1

This is great - I love that piece of cardboard! The whole thing works... beautiful.

Re: Ready To WORK

What a cool work space...if that alien dude isn't inspiring, I don't know what is! I would love to have a spot like that - I'm still trying to figure out how to turn a very bland apartment bedroom into my junk lab. This is great inspiration...

Re: Kitchen Redo

That is absolutely great, it's turning out beautiful - beadboard is one of my favorites, I had no idea they made wallpaper like that - think of all the possibilities. Great job!

Re: "Record" setting transformation...

What an awesome, interesting piece - 1,001 uses! Love the colors of the plates with the rust. I hope I find something that cool when junk season starts. Someone told me a good way to clean/preserve rusty stuff is to use linseed oil. Have any of you done that?

Re: A Day at the Beach

Very cool... love the driftwood on top, too.
