What an awesome, interesting piece - 1,001 uses! Love the colors of the plates with the rust. I hope I find something that cool when junk season starts. Someone told me a good way to clean/preserve rusty stuff is to use linseed oil. Have any of you done that?

Thank you all for the great welcome, I love this site! As far as the patina, I used blue & green solutions from Modern Options over metallic paint.
