I love junk. I love it so much, that when I opened my Salon I filled it with junk. I have filled my home too. You can feel the history and love in the old stuff that just seems to be missing in our world today. Maybe I am just crazy. My husband certainly thinks so every time I bring home another ugly treasure as he calls them. I also love to create and this is a great inexpensive way to do that, not to mention earth friendly. I also make tutus and hats to get all that creative energy out. I hope my daughter inherits my love of junking and we can share that someday too.

This is a great piece. I will be on the look out for an old door now to create my own to use next summer's parties. The rake is a really cool wine glass holder too.

These are awesome!!!!! They inspired me to put all of my silver to good use. I have a weakness for silver pieces and have never really figured out to do with them. So cool!!!!!!!!!
Can you tell me what kind of clear coat you use?
