I love junk of any sort. I take what I find and turn it into art or something useful. I have a vintage booth where I sell some of my finds in their original condition, also stuff that has been altered, and original art pieces. You can stop by and see if you are ever in Georgetown, TX - I'm at the Collectors Market on 29, booth #811. Hoping to have a website and newsletter up and running by the end of the year. Joined this site to get to know some like minded people, this place feels like home!!

Re: Junk Mama Birthday Gift for her Shabby Chic Daughter!

I just bought an old vanity stool with twisted wire legs. The seat is ugly, I had planned just to re-cover it, but I like your plant stand idea even better, think I'll take it in that direction instead.....thanks for the inspiration!

Re: Our Name in Junk!

adore this idea!!!! I've been collecting actual objects from nature (tree limbs, rocks, etc) trying to find the letters of my name.......don't know why I never wanted to spell with junk, but you've completely inspired me, and I will be hunting in a new way from now on.......
