First attempt at making rust...

I painted both items white and then used cinnamon as the rust...works pretty cool....this is my first attempt and I will try again!...sharon

Can you give any details on how you did it? Did you wet the cinnamon, or how did you get it to stick? Or did you put the cinnamon on wet paint? Thanks!

What did you put over it to seal the piece? Did the cinnamon run at all or did it stay put as you sealed the hanger?
