Turbin Lamp
April 3rd, 2009 in member junkI found this awesome orange vintage lamp today at a GS. I tried several different kinds of shades on it, but nothing really suited me, soooooooooooooo.....I went out to my backyard and used an old house turbin I had on another project. Wala!....Not everyone has a turbin lamp, ya know..lol (sorry about the dark pics) And yes...those are REAL turtle shells...and NO I did not kill them, we found them this way! (minus the polyurethane of course! ha)

Love, love, love the shade. Back yard shopping is the best!

Love the turtle shells too reminds me of this
Jo on the next lid, scratched and worn,
And within a motley store
Of headless dolls, of school=books torn,
Birds and beasts that speak no more;
Spoils brought home from the fairy ground
Only trod by youthful feet. Posted: 4:35 pm on April 4th
