WoW!  Amazing fun with Sue, her amazing daughter Elizabeth, and Doug (a.k.a. Blue Eyes)!

What a whirlwind...no wonder Miss Sue is so tiny...always going, and going and going!  Lucky me to get to play along!  Just when I thought I had the most brilliant idea for use of freebie, miniature perfume bottles, she trumps me...why not as lamp finials?  Tada!  I bow down.

While her personality comes through in her books and here on this site, it is ever so much more gracious, humble, sweet, silly and sincere when meeting her in person.  So apparent when my shy five year old insisted on having Miss Sue carry her, hug her and sit in her lap THE WHOLE TIME!

My junkin neighbors, yes, the three of us have ALL decorated our homes via thrift, garage sales and curbside shopping embraced sue in Marty's "Sunday House".  Hi Budge, Hi Michelle, Hi Marty!  That's Auntie Carol (my sister in law on the end -- can't see the glass of wine, darn the picture size requirements on this site)!

We went to the spec house that my husband, Steve, is building and Sue gave us some GREAT ideas for unexpected touches -- can't wait to photograph those little ditties once we implement them.  THANK YOU SUE!
