Faucet Knob Art Pieces

As many of you know, I have a thing for metal faucet / valve knobs and usually come home from the junkyard with a bunch every week. In a previous post I showed and example of a wind chime and here are my latest wall art creations.
And here’s what we came up with: the first one includes many of my vintage hard to find knobs and the second one is a bit more colorful. All the knobs are steel and they are welded into a couple of cool cog-like items I found in a rusty pile of steel at (you guessed it) the junkyard.
Here's a shot of the smaller one with the more colorful knobs. It is about 15" across.
Chris made sure they had a handy hang hook and since not all knobs are created alike, he created some nifty stand offs so they would be out away from the wall.
I’m going to keep the large one but this one is going up in a show I’m doing for Earth Month.

Thanks so much for the compliments everyone! This was a fun one and I really enjoyed the results. Catbishop - to answer your question about welding: no, not yet - I want to, but JennyK & flames don't go together well without real training so my new best pal Chris the Welder has been doing my projects (and never raising an eyebrow with what I bring him :-))
And oldnews - thanks for posting not once but twice! WOW.
Yours in rust,
JennyK

I am amazed I just love them. I did not think I could love any thing better than the printer letter table........but now not so sure!

I recently found 4 at a yard sale and was thrilled; now I see that I have a LONG way to go to say I have a collection
What a conversation starter!
