In the gathering room holding a sweet flower. Again, one flower makes a big statement without the expense of an elaborate bouquet.
In the loo dishing up the soap.
Breakfast with junk. I like my junk over easy.
Oopsie doops, I was almost late for my day job at the office!
Look at me now. Im a pin pal. I find this is a good way to keep in touch with my seamstress friends. Project Junkway, here I come.
Got the rainy day blues? Take a good long soak in the tub. This time my friend is flipped over and set on a flat votive holder. Light the candle, drop in some aromatic wax, and enjoy! I recommend starting the melting process in the microwave. It works either way, but yoiull get more life out of your candle if it doesnt have to work so hard. Scented oil also works.

The best way to make sure that junk gets used and not tossed out is to figure out how many different ways it can be employed in your home. Take this metal cup holder from a soda fountain paired with a vintage custard cup for an example. It shows up in a variety of differrent rooms in my home each time with a new job.

Thanks so much I'm glad that you enjoy these. I love the simple re-purposes as well. Seems like we have so ittle time these days and projects like these can be slipped in between our other tasks. You can expect to see more of this type of post as we go along.

Take care,
