This is a very simple project that can be done in less than an hour. After that you can quickly organize your desk and still have time for some fun.
We all have small items that need a home on our desks. Right? Slap one of these together and you're good to go! Love, love, love white dominoes.
Tricks of the trade. Twenty beautiful white dominoes, four door hinge pins, a piece of wood (mine is 12" x 3" x 1"), some Gorilla Super Glue, a bolt cutter, a metal file or Dremmel tool, and a tape measure. Ready, set, build!
Glue dominoes together in sets of four. I used five sets. Measure and glue each set on the top of your board. I allowed two inches between each set.
Clamp hinge pins and clip with bolt cutter.
File hinge pins with metal file or Dremmel tool to make even. Glue one pin head (Hahahaha) to each corner to act as legs. Nice pins!

Fresh fron the Junk Beautiful DVD come follow up instructions. Dominoes by the dozens! I keep my fair share of dominoes on hand for a variety of different projects. They can be fashioned into soap dishes (Junk Beautiful, Outdoor Edtion), frames, table tops, and even desk organizers. Grab some for yourself the next time you're out on the junking trail and see what you can come up with! Dominoes are among my favorite junk building blocks.
