Happy Easter & Welcome to our Booth!
March 11th, 2009 in member junkTa-da!!! We have a booth in a local antique mall - it's called Pumpkin Hollow Antiques, and it's in the village of Bellville, Ohio. We've started out with a small space, and are going to see how the season goes. Soooo, now we have another spot to decorate AND make some money!
It's a great antique mall, next to a bike trail, and it's also got a restaurant with great sandwiches, soups, etc...an ice cream shoppe is being added for the summer. There are quite a few vendors with everything from fine antiques, collectibles and of course some shabby cottage style furniture and home decor...with a little junk thrown in - for a project or two...

CONGRATULATIONS on your booth in Pumpkin Hollow Antiques! We'll definitely put it on our list of places to visit when we take a road trip! What a righteous endeavor to bring together lovely things for others to enjoy and shop. I had to chuckle at something I saw on your "Andrea's List of 10 favorite things"....Rust. At Good JuJu in Kansas City we have a saying....."Rust Rocks"!! Nothing better than pairing fabulous weathered rusty pieces with shabby things. A feast for the senses for sure!
Wishing you success with this new booth, Leanna

I'm really hopeful of the coming fleamarket & antique shopping season - and hope it's successful for all of you too!! Spring provides us with lots of possibilities! I've appreciated the support and kindness that abounds here at JunkMarketStyle - and I know it's encouraging to me, and others...whether a person crafts for fun or to sell, or just appreciates what a person can do when they set their "junking" mind to it!!
I'm always in awe of the creative minds that reside here at JunkMarketStyle!
Thanks again! Kathy
P.S. Hoping that's the last storm of the season!!

It's member feature time! After last nights snow and ice storm I thought we could all use a little shot in the arm and remind ourselves of what is to come. Spring, sunshine, warm weather, and shopping for junk without bulky winter attire. Kathy, your booth looks terrific and you already know I think that little chick is ADORABLE! Love the do....very chic! Thanks for sharing this post with us and helping us keep our eye on the prize!
Take care,

Janis, I couldn't believe we found all those shoe stretchers - I love the colors (maybe I should keep a couple...).
Candy - maybe you can stop in for a visit when you travel my way! We'll have to do a day in each other's "territory"!! :)
Single salt shakers are pretty easy to find, and usually "cheep"!! So, I have fun with them...I've got some now that should turn out cute, one is a skunk! ha ha
