RAD-ical Lamp
March 24th, 2009 in blog, member junk
Everyone needs a “Theme Floor Lamp” in their home. I keep finding these vintage buckets and then incorporate the theme to create a one-of-a-kind Lamp that throws off a very intimate light…over your dirty laundry. That’s because the galvanized washtub base, which is mounted to a piece of distressed plywood, is actually used as a hamper in my laundry room. The pull chain is a vintage clothesline reel. I painted the RAD text on the washtub to add a little color. Good old RAD Detergent.

Just kidding, but this is fantastic! You really should get these into the marketplace somehow...here in D.C. this would sell for mucho bucks!
Thanks again for sharing and your painting is really wonderful, too!
