I love this old lamp base, and thought the cloche looked neat sitting on it.
Love this one...its small, but wine corks look kinda cool under it...
Just a little nest under this one.
Heres another version with the rusty lamp base.

Just thought I'd share a few ideas I use glass domes (cloches) for...nothing too exciting or new here, but they are FUN to decorate with.  I dug out my spring stuff and took a few pictures...THINK SPRING!

Junk_Sophisticate writes: Beautiful displays Andrea! Are you sure your second photo wasn't on a cover of a magazine?? It's gorgeous! Unfortunately I don't have many cloches personally, other than the little ones who's former life was the top of a cheese platter. Still like them though.

Great post!

MimiToria writes: Andrea - I too love cloches, and am always looking for them. Most of mine currently are smaller, as I don't have much space to have table scape displays, but now that I'll be reselling, I will be looking for large ones too.
Beautiful displays! My favorite is the lamp base used with the cloche, but I'm a sucker for birds nests.
Thanks for sharing!

piecesofthepast writes: Very cool displays! My favorite ones are the clock and the eggs with the bunny. I don't have a lot of room to display cloches in my house, so I'm envious of those who have room to set up stuff like this. That old lamp base was quite a find! Posted: 4:40 pm on March 11th
CottageElements writes: Andrea, I think we all have a thing for cloches! I was just thinking of doing something on them as I have a fairly large collection. These look amazing. I love the floor lamp base. I think that's my favorite. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for one of them!

fellowjunker writes: I love, love, love cloches as well, and love what you've done with all yours. The lamp base is a wonderful idea. So glad you shared some "spring" moments. Even though the crocus' are blooming here we are having record low temps.

texasjunkermom writes: Very pretty, each one. I needed one to serve a practical use and my husband moved heaven and earth trying to find one for me. He did and it is in use right now to keep dust off a very precious ornament made by a 90+year-old lady. I'd love to find some like yours. Maybe at a garden shop? Love the ones on the rusty lamp bases. (I'm trying not to covet!) Posted: 10:40 pm on March 10th
