My First Attempt
February 17th, 2009 in member junkI found this site (and fell in love with all the creativity here) when I was searching for ideas on what to do with 5 old windows I salvaged from the bed of my husband's pickup truck. He had just completed a remodeling job and was going to take them to the dump! I know, I know, can you imagine!!!???!!! This was so simple and I love the 3 dimensional effect. I'm planning on hanging 2 more of the windows in my backyard beneath my pergola. Now, what to do with the remaining two?

Good job with the salvaged window. Candy's phrase is perfect... it definitely "chunks up" your artwork. Otherwise your frames may get lost on the wall. Framing them within the windows really adds to the whole arrangement. I like it!
