candle stand

I found these wooden posts at the auction a while back. I knew I wanted to make them into candle stands. I bought a round wooden disc at Walmart for $1.12 that I attached to the top w/ Gorilla Glue and 4 small nails. Then, I painted the disc to match the rest of the post, and put the big blue cnadle on top.

I LOVE the simplicity of the design because it will always fit in, even if my decor changes.

QueenofGreen writes: What a beautiful statement piece! For seasonal decor you could even add charms, ribbon or flowers to the post - green/red, pink with hearts, orange & black, etc. It's so nice and neutral. Posted: 11:36 am on February 8th
