I used a bunk bed ladder to make this message center. I painted a piece of board cut to size for a chalkboard, and used a piece of an old bulletin board covered in fabric for the other spot. I screwed two old drawers on the rungs for mail and magazines and that all important "stuff"(one of the drawers is from the wine rack project), and added some hooks on the sides for purses, keys, leashes, or whatnot.
