Last Night's Party Leftovers become Today's Valentine ...
January 24th, 2009 in member junkPublished in Somerset Weddings 2008 issue was my take on a "green" wedding...the proposal and then gifts for the wedding party...in Perrier bottles! Bits and pieces from the crafting room floor, confetti, glitter, buttons, ephemera, tiny sea shells, baby letter beads, and scrolls with sentiments. Spray a little bit of potpourri refresher oil, cap, then shake for the recipient to pour out and sift through.
Just crafted these two from some beer bottles -- cut out Victorian looking little valentine people and then decoupaged them on the outside, also placed them inside (use a shish-k-bob skewer!), and wrapped lots of pretty ribbons and a bit of vintage french lace...made a tiny tag and then painted/rubber stamped a tea bag wrapper for an envelope
Voila -- Valentines!
Lucky me, XX and an "L" bottle caps...perfect top off for kisses and love.
