Yellow Guest Bedroom

This is one of my guest rooms that is referred to by our friends as the "yellow room." All of the wood furniture is swap meet and flea market finds that I revamped and repurposed. My husband made me custom frames for the paint-by-number paintings out of old scrap moldings we had and I white washed them! The old bottles were dug up in our yard during a landscaping makeover. Suit cases are another flea market find as well as just about everything in that room!

FunktionalJunk writes: Thanks so much for posting more pictures of your beautiful home! I love all of many great ideas! I especially like the baskets instead of drawers in the little desk. I have always passed on desks and dressers when the drawers didn't work so well or were missing altogether. Now I'll have to start scooping them up! Thanks for another great couple of postings!

MimiToria writes: Another beautiful room redesigned. Keep on posting they are gorgeous and so inspiring. I love how you proved your friend wrong about the desk and how you revamped it. I've not seen anything like that done to a desk, but only to a dresser before.
I'd love to be a guest in a home this beautiful. Wow! Very nicely done.

Sweet, sweet yellow room.

piecesofthepast writes: Yep, your friend was wrong about the desk! I like the look of the baskets instead of the drawers. I like your peaceful look...I guess because it's the polar opposite of my house of color! Posted: 12:57 pm on January 17th
Meadowview_Farm writes: Just a wonderful room -- and the desk is just charming with the baskets as drawers. Thanks so much for showing us other rooms in your house -- you had really wet our appetite with your first post....and they are even better than anticipated!
