Kitchen Sets In Progress

Kitchen Sets In Progress

Photo: tmonkey

Made from an old square side table, spray painted plastic bowl for sinks, faucets from a hotel that was renovating, and the rest of the wood is from a wooden shelf. I split the square box in half, cut out circles for sinks and faucets to fit into. Took apart a wood shelf and redesigned it for the top and doors on the units. The rest is just paint with a little detail like plexiglass, hinges, pulls, laches, oven burners (Made from mdf turned on a lathe then painted) and done. My kids loved them for Christmas!

pofolksdecorator1 writes: I love them. I collect vintage kids toys. I bought a piece shaped like them. The bottom has slider doors, so I got frustrated. Maybe I should go find the stuff you suggested and finish it. Awesome. I will NEVER grow up. Thanks. Posted: 3:03 pm on April 8th

junkinhart writes: I love these!! We have actually been planning one for our granddaughter...........the stand is a great idea!! I kept my old sink faucet for this purpose, and found an old enamel bowl for the sink. Thanks for an idea for the base, I do have one I can recycle.

Junk_Sophisticate writes: Welcome to JUNKMARKET Style tmonkey! I truly love what you've done with these pieces and would trade our big clunky plastic kitchen for one of your re-use designed kitchens. In a heartbeat!

Fantastic work.
