After -I  transformed this new stool into a rugged, rustic stool, for a photo shoot.
Before - a white stool that I bought at Ross for $27.
I took this photo after I started sanding it.  It had several coats of white gloss paint.
Detail - top of stool w/notches and good ol wear & tear!

After -I  transformed this new stool into a "rugged, rustic" stool, for a photo shoot.

This is a stool that I bought new, and then aged.  It was a prop for a photo shoot and I fooled everyone - they all thought it was an old, rustic  stool.  Art directors are hard to fool - but I did it this time!

Thanks for sharing,

I do repurpose old things, too - but we don't have as much old, cheap junk around here. The midwest has a lot more of that stuff! I plan on exploring further inland - small rural CA towns, etc...

Have a great day!

He's usually there twice a year and went with him once. It's absolutely beautiful. Lucky you! Posted: 11:16 pm on August 19th
