Tin Ceiling Fixture Lamp & Sign
January 2nd, 2009 in member junkI made these lamps using antique light fixtures and galvanized pipes. I actually found pipes that threaded into the fixtures. The hardest thing was drilling a hole through the insulator in the fixture, the ceramic was very hard. I liked the look of the pipe and the peeled paint on the fixures so i didn't do any paint treatment on them. I also made the Merry Christmas sign on bead board, framed it with scrap trim boards and put it inside the red frame from an antique dresser that I found (missing the mirror).

Your sign idea added to the vintage mirror frame minus the mirror is really cool too.
