My husband builds custom homes, so it only seemed fitting to use old house plans to wallpaper the back wall of our home office.  I just stapled the blueprints to the wall mostly as is.  I did cut one in half to go over the top of the window.  It is sutble but has impact.

I worked for an architectural firm once and for Christmas I made little tiny rolled up blueprints tied with ribbon as Christmas ornaments for all my co-workers.
