Here is the final product. But how did it start?
It started with a 50 cent folding piece from a garage sale.
With a coat of creamy white paint, two bark cloth drapery tie-backs from estate sale (25 cents for the pair), and a staple gun, voila! A new luggage rack for the guest room! :)

I started with a mystery item I found at a garage sale last summer for 50 cents. It was black with hinges and it folded up. I didn't know what I would do with it at the time. It was not until just a couple weeks ago that I found a pair of bark cloth drapery tie-backs that it all came together. I had to wait a year to find the perfect fit, but now I am very happy with the outcome.
