Christmas Lamp
December 21st, 2008 in member junkMerry Christmas to all the creative junkers on this site!! This is my first post.
I have been viewing this site since middle of November. I absolutely love to come to this site! I also LOVE to shop at our local thrift store, which is where I found the makings of this lamp. I first found the ? milk glass lamp shade. Then I found the iron base(original color was brown with ugly plastic greens, red mushrooms and red apples stuck around it.) I removed everything, washed and spray painted the base white(one of my favorite painting colors) then I added my shade. All it needed was a small Christmasy wreath and new LED lights, and now it is a night light in our bathroom.I can change the wreath to suit the seasons. Total cost with new lights $8 cdn.

Welcome to the site and Merry Christmas to you too! What a wonderful project, it's lovely. I love the combo of the iron base (absent its former attire) and milk glass lamp shade.Nice work...I can't wait to see more.
Be well,
