Close up of the seat

I got the chair at a thrift shop and it was bare wood, all I had to do was rub some paste wax on it.  Then I had quite a few old leather belts but needed to purchase more for $1.00 each ( I should have waited until the 50% off sale, but I'm to impatient once I get started).  This can be done with old silk neck ties as well.
