Thought I would post this since I am computing today. This is a fixture I built for our bathroom, one of two. I took the old one, striped it down, scrapped the back plate, painted a couple old shutters heirloom white, drilled a few holes. did a little wiring and we have new old lights.

The old fixture was like the bottom pic, but had three lights not two. The two light fixture is in the hall bath waiting for its turn for the redo .

ps. the mirror is not dirty, just 30 years old. I am on the look out for a newer one or two. Its a 10 footer so I might have to go with something smaller.
