A Thomasville brown dresser was painted a rust color, except the drawers were left brown.  I took 3 different fabrics to the drawers, and then to the top of the dresser, leaving a space in the center of the top for the scrapbook paper that I wrote in calligraphy a poem by an unknown author.  I decoupaged the scrapbook paper to the top first, then the fabric, and added rust colored burlap ribbon around the fabrics and paper to divide them all like a quilt on the top.  I reinstalled the hardware on the drawers and voila, this born again entry bureau was born!  I love it!
