The finished product. Right now its sitting on the patio, but I think it would make a beautiful statement wall piece too. You could even put your family portrait in the frame/O.
This was the original pristine retro piece. My feelings were hurt badly when I ruined it. :(
Lets play a game... can you spot the baby?
Here I am!

I won a tv console and record player console on an online auction.(Cheap cheap!) When I got to the pick up point I realized my eyes were much bigger then my car. (this girl needs a truck!) The only option I had was to break it down and make it fit. Now, most babies encroaching on toddlerdom are not very patient. Lol. Amongst the madness of it all I ruined the laminate exterior and lost a few screws (tisk tisk), but it did fit.

After, sulking a few months and sitting in storage it finally hit me. The bottom base support structure looks like a comercial size letter E. So I cut some more letters out of the remaining material painted, sealed added a frame and vola, ALOT OF PATIO LOVE!
