Solar light/Windchimes/Suncatcher

I thought I'd share this idea. My windchimes broke the other day. (The thick wooden disc to which the metal tubes were attached simply broke in half.) I hated to part with them...I loved the sound they made in the wind...so I searched the house for something I could use to upcycle them.

I found a metal candleholder I had bought a while ago, with the intention of removing the cheap plastic beads wired to it, and replacing with sea glass. Well, since it was a candleholder, it had a platform for a tea light...and I had the idea of gluing the top of a Dollar Tree stake solar light to the candle platform. Now I have a combined solar light/wind chimes/suncatcher!

During the day, the sunlight will illuminate the glass...and at night the solar light will do so! (Dollar Tree lights are excellent....this one stayed lit all night last night, and they last a long time for the price.)
