Am Oronoco tradition, breakfast at the fire station.
We were late and they ran out of pancakes so they gave us extra sausage.
Later that same morning I re-gifted my vegan daughter the leftovers. The ultimate in recycling..not! Her face says it all.
Timothys pick of the market was from Tillys Tavern and heres what he had to say. Cheese curds...a gooey explosion in every finger-licking bite. Mmm, cheese.
Sincerely,
Tim the Stinky Cheese Man
Lovely Laura aka Tims wife (its all in the family) picked the the pulled pork from Tillys. Her comment? The shredded pork is oh so flavorful by itself, but delectably sweet with the BBQ sauce.
P.S. Im really not related to the stinky cheese man. Seriously, look at the picture.
Gyro, gyro girl.. I want to be a gyro girl! Kimbo didnt give me a quote so you can blame this one on me. By the looks of things shes enjoying the experience!
My daughter E the vegan and her comments. These old fashioned potato fries that I found in a booth were the only vegan fare I could find. Although I am usually a health nut this was a rare delicious treat. They were fried in vegie oil. I checked.
Im a Minnesotan born and bred. Knee high by the fourth of July, in my tummy as soon as it can get there. Home grown corn-on-the-cob, my choice everytime. Please pass the toothpicks!
Just in from California, my dear friend Georgia was experiencing Minnesota for the first time. Homemade pie was on her mind and here is what she had to say. Rhubarb pie!
Need I say more? This is actually my 2nd piece  - I had it for breakfast the first day...minus the ice cream!

Sophie (or Sophilina, as I call her) discovered the world famous ice cream sandwiches. I asked her for a quote and she was speechless. Try one, youll know what im talking about. You just need to enjoy the moment.  Or several.

OK kids it's time to take a look at the best in show of the food fare at the Downtown Oronco Gold Rush Days.  These are personal accounts from the JUNKMARKET team.  Believe me when I say we took full advantage of the 80/20 rule and tried a little bit of everything.  MMMM mmm good!  Now it's back to salads.
