So after seeing all the wonderful Scrabble creations from you all, I decided to try making my own. Instead of using a Scrabble board though, I used an old board from a vintage board game called Travel the World. The found the old game board-where else?- at the flea market for free and I already had the Scrabble tiles. I put vintage looking luggage stickers on it too- I got those from my aunt for Christmas yesterday.

I also made another display from the other side of the board (I cut it in half) for my boyfriend with his name and "history" on it because he's a history teacher.

vintageval writes: HI THERE! I AM A BIG FAN OF SCRABBLE TILES TOO. I HAD AN IDEA FOR XMAS TO GET AN OLD GLOBE AND GLUE THE SCRABBLE TILES TO IT SAYING "JOY TO THE WORLD". IF I FIND A GLOBE, I WILL SEND IN A PICURE. ALSO, HERE AT WORK, I USE THE TILES AND TILE HOLDERS TO MAKE NAME PLATES.PEOPLE REALLY LIKE THEM. Posted: 5:27 pm on December 15th
