We love our neighbors in Minnesota...but what did you send over to Wisconsin?!  15 below regular temperature this morning - yes, you read that right - I won't even begin to share the wind chill!  Thank goodness for cozy warm spaces.  Our living room is our big bear hug of a room - great place to spend a cold day!! Sorry the lighting is poor - took the picture first thing this morning as the sun broke through the frost!

Most of the pieces in the room are vintage/antiques.  We bought the wool rug on a whim,  --- when we took up three pieces of carpet in this 150 year old room --- found the exact shadow of a similar wool rug on the painted wood floor - was a meant to be. Every other piece has a story too - that's what makes it home.
