So … the next time someone says “Here – I got these for you – they’re Zamboni brushes.” – be very, very careful ! This is what they lead to – a ginormous, crazy, hootin’, glowin’, handsome owl ! He’s about 10 feet tall, 12 feet wide and made entirely from repurposed items. His body is a piece of salvaged plywood, his wings are rustic barnboard, his eyes are a combination of a Zamboni brush, a reflector and a piece of glass I painted, his eyebrows are lawnmower blades, his beak is a really old, dried out leather bike seat, his “tuft” at the top is the end of an old rake, his tail is the end of a garden edger and his feet are the most awesome cultivator claws ever ! He is perched upon a cedar log about 6 feet off the ground and I just love him ! There’s only one problem … he needs a name ! Help me out folks – let’s hear your suggestions. You can see more "in progress" photos of him on my Scenic Script Facebook page in the "Owl" album - https://www.facebook.com/ScenicScript

Scenic Script writes: Thanks everyone for the encouraging comments. He keeps a watchful eye on us through the garden gate. (Did I mention two smaller brushes found me at a flea market about two weeks after finishing this guy ? lol ...) Posted: 1:51 am on August 2nd
