I put a small amount of soil in the saucers, planted the succulents, and added rocks and moss.
I love the look of the planted lamp with the beautiful botanical pillows.
A new way of creating a vertical garden. Just saying!
I know its just a coffee cup lamp, but it does have simple beauty. I wanted to give it a garden touch so thats what I did! I think it is quite appropriate for me to have a coffee cup lamp in my room..dont you?

This is a lamp I purchased already re-purposed and love the simple beauty. You know what they say...some things just never get old. You all know that I love to put a new twist on time worn ideas so here we go!

EdwardThirlwall writes: I'd love to see how this turns out in a few years! I've never had very much luck with all sorts of plants and I'm resigned to permanently keeping my garden tools in storage lest the plants cry out for mercy! Haha! But if this works as a nice indoor solution with minimum upkeep, I think I could manage to keep these alive for a while! Posted: 10:20 pm on February 24th

JunkArchitect writes: Hey Sue! It's not just a coffee cup lamp, it's the only sign of spring I've seen since 2013! And, there's a blizzard happening about 100 miles to the east of me right now.

Great lamp and thanks for the glimmer of things to come.
