The safety chain was added to stop a collapse.
The 300 watt bulb still works after a year banging around in my garage.
Westinghouse is embossed on the thick glass lens.
The lamp has a great profile.

This is a nice industrial style light that I assembled from picked pieces.  The wood leg tripod is for a surveyor's transit that was long departed.  It was found at a local garage sale.  The spotlight is from one of mines on the Iron Range and was found on a picking trip near Gilbert.  I rewired the light, made up a mounting assembly to attach the light to the tripod and put on a safety chain.
