Hi Everyone,

Above is a sewing cabinet that I am repurposing as a desk.  It used to have a pop-up middle that I am now going to try and put a piano hinge on the back for access and floor the whole piece. Are there tricks to the PH or should I use conventional hinges? The front will get rope handles and a glaze before waxing.

Thanks for suggestions.
