Restoration

My wife and I pulled this beat up French dresser out of a two story apartment complex.  My wife wasn't too happy with me.  It was for sale, but when we went to pick it up, it was full of clothes.  The seller quickly removed the clothing and my wife and I took it out of the house. I can't tell you what I bought if for, but it was dirt cheap. It had deep cuts in the wood, chipped, it was water damaged on top. Just sanded her down to her base. Painted frame black and then obviously stained her a mohogany red.  I sanded parts of the frame to give it that antiqued/distressed look.  It was a Broyhill and well made. It just needed someone like me to restore it and she came out beautiful. I sold her the day I posted her and after that, my wife was happy! lol
