I have found a use for closet racks and old CD holders, anything with slats to hang things from such as  straw baskets,  signs, storage containers, garden baskets, birdcages, realy anything that can hang and stored high to be seen for use but out of the way. They can hang flat to hold my sewing  batting and light objects on top or hang sideways to hold items on hangers or "s" hooks. I also use old CD shelves to hang sideways to hang items with S hooks from. I also use shower curtain rings that have a over the top of rod hanger to hold items from too like the Green wicker basket with the doll" Miss UGELY in it,  Miss U,G,E ,L, Y is what I call her! My attic craft room is full to the brim and I am working on organizing it when I can find things and I also will have to get rid of a BUNCH of things when I can go through everything! I have been a collector of " STUFF" for way to long.   My craft room is in our unfinished attic space.

ChristopherJames writes: Wow! Your passion for handicrafts really shows from your collection of all the fancy materials you have up in your attic. The key factor in creating space is to organize and to do it regularly. Always perform housekeeping even if it is just once a week. Regardless of how huge your storage area is, if you keep adding onto the existing clutters, space will never be enough. Posted: 9:32 pm on May 25th
