I took an antique cast iron garden urn and turned it into a beautiful coffee table.
The room is shabby chic meets Paris apartment meets industrial chic meets urban . . .I love it. . .oh. . .yes that is one of those $399.00 sofas from Ikea. . .
Lots of buttons and rhinestone jewelry fill up the urn. I topped it with glass.
I also tossed in a few chandelier crystals for extra sparkle.
These antique Union Jack flags in a trophy vase add a nice touch to an otherwise very French room, in lieu of Queen Elisabeths Diamond Jubilee and the 2012 London Olympics. . .the waxed paper flags are on bamboo--yes--bamboo poles!
