cart on wheels for displaying dollhouse

I just found this little cart on the side of the road this past weekend. I passed it, then turned around and went back for it and crammed it into my car before heading home.

I knew that it'd be a perfect for displaying a dollhouse. Since its on wheels, I can have it against the wall, and when I need to work on it or move stuff around inside, I can roll it over.

This picture's pretty dark, but I wanted to show the tiny lights on the house.  .  .

You can use a large book shelf, one of the girls made a similar piece with a waterbed headboard on top of another piece. Think square, deep enough, then the really important part I think is the top. Ornate picture frames can be found at thrift stores, tear them apart and glue them to the front, you want it to have some type of mirror- buy a really ugly one, but big, throw away the frame or use it for something else. Break apart an old chair and use the carved legs, don't be critical of yourself when you get going. Its going to be one of a kind! You go girl! Annie Posted: 7:57 pm on March 11th
